Reflections

Webblog can be a tool to build rapport with the pupils. There can be a webblog with the whole class as participants and authors or a single email and blog account can be used for the whole class. Pupils may use this tool to interact with one another regarding lessons or just to have a chat with friends. Blogging can also be used to incorporate learning in pupils as well. Teachers can post a discussion topic in which pupils are encouraged to participate in using proper English. Discussions can be in the form of a short paragraph or even with word limitation. This will encourage pupils to use thinking skills and practice on their mastery of the English language. Pupils who are not so good at English can also learn by reading what their peers have written down on the webblog
